| So I was bored and figured hey lets run a simple simulation on 87mm versus 92mm bore (which I think max bore and etc). I ran a little different cam and valve jobs to try and isolate bottle necks and only focus on the bore.. This basically same setup on stock bore versus a bigger bore.
The stuff gets really interesting at 9:1 compression ratio.
So for those interested in making a car with a little more pep I say go for a bigger bore, smaller turbos, and higher compression ratio.
The data is just for educational purposes (disclaimer) Basically any increase in displacement will help a turbo motor as results are recursive. Funny thing is even with turbo cars there is no replacement for displacement :-P What would be great for the VG30DETT (which won't ever happen) was if nissan had released a special race block like the GNX had with a 4.3l motor
